May 21, 2000: Arkham 2: Below won second place in the Kyle's Quest Level Creation Contest this year!  It was a close race, with Arkham 2 falling behind Adventurama by 4 first-place votes.  I can't help but wonder if it would have won if more people had played it.  I bet quite a few people are dissuaded by it's $5 cost.

I've been trying to get Kyle to put up a user-rating system on his download page so people will know which levels are liked best.

December 10, 1999: Kyle updated his website!  He also kicked off a new level-creation contest.  I'll ask him if "Below" is eligible.  If not, I may have to do something...

October 17, 1999: I'm back from my trip to Salem Massachusetts!  Salem is the city which inspired H. P. Lovecraft's creation of the city "Arkham" the most.  It's the real Arkham!  I had a fantastic time, and will be putting up the photos I took once I get them developed.  There just isn't anything like walking the streets of Salem after midnight...  So far, there are no bugs in Arkham 2: Below which need fixing!  This makes me immensely happy!

October 1, 1999: Arkham 2: Below is released!  After much debate and thought, I decided I had to charge $5.00 for it; a first for a Kyle's Quest level.  I spent a lot of time developing it, and really really want a Palm Vx, so here's your chance to help me in my own quest!  It's easily worth the money.  It will entertain you far longer than a movie can; and you can take it with you!

September 24, 1999: Arkham 2: Below is in testing!  The first of October is only a week away, and it looks like it's going to make it on time!  Oh, also I made this new website.

September 11, 1999: Progress continues!  October first is the day I'm shooting for.  I will be in Salem Massachusetts from the 7th to 13th of October, taking in the graveyards, forests, and night-life.  It's going to be a splendid time.  I'll try to make it back alive; with pictures, if not sanity.

August 3, 1999: I'm still alive.  I just made the mistake of playing EverQuest, which has been consuming all of my free time.  I highly recommend it as a distraction until I get the sequel done.  The fancy changes to the website won't happen until then.  Additionally, my mail-server went down and I lost arkham@kideternal.com for a while.  It's back now.  I am still planning on having the game out by October in time for Halloween and a trip to Salem, MA!

May 7, 1999: Switched to a new web server which I'm hosting myself!  Now I'll have more control over the look and feel of these pages!  Look for changes soon.

April 7, 1999: That message board was awful, so I switched to a better one! The sequel is already 112k in size, so it's safe to say it's at least half done! I still hope to finish it by May 19th, but it all depends on my sanity holding out. Oh, and I registered a new domain and am expecting DSL service next Monday. I'll be able to host all manner of goodness myself for a change!

March 9, 1999: Added a Discussion Board, and pictures(Front/Back) of the rare clear case I won in the level design contest! (Note the "USRobotics" and "PalmPilot" silk-screening! Also, the toothpick and upgrade board on back.)

March 2, 1999: Just letting you know that work continues on the sequel. Hopefully it'll be out by May!

January 15, 1999: Arkham won First Place in the 1998 Level Creation Contest!. This means I'll feel justified spending more time working on the sequel!
